These wholesome bear paw cookies are soft, lightly sweet, and made with nourishing ingredients plus a protein boost. Perfect for lunchboxes or a cozy snack, theyโ€™re easy to make and fun to shape into โ€œpawsโ€ for a playful touch!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • ยฝ cup all purpose (gluten-free if needed) or whole wheat flour
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed or ยผ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 egg or flax egg
  • ยผ cup maple syrup or honey
  • ยผ cup melted coconut oil or unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ยฝ tsp baking soda
  • ยผ tsp salt
  • โ…“ cup mini chocolate chips (dairy-free if needed)
  • 3 servings Zentein Pure Bovine Collagen Peptide Protein Powder or Zentein Superfood Collagen Protein Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mash the banana and whisk in the egg, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the oat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Stir together the wet and dry ingredients until smooth and fully combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the baking sheet. Gently flatten and shape into โ€œpawsโ€ if desired.
  7. Bake for 10โ€“12 minutes, until lightly golden on the edges.
  8. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
